The Arsenal to Be a Winner

What weapons have you been using to fight your battles? Could it be that they are not the most appropriate or the most effective? Perhaps that is the reason for some of your defeats. How many times have you given your all, applied your best strategy, exhausted your emotional, physical, and even spiritual resources, and still ended up tasting the bitter taste of defeat? The frustration that follows almost always brings a silent echo of unanswered questions. And not infrequently, we try to close the matter with a seem- ingly spiritual phrase: “It wasn’t God’s will.” But what if, in truth, it is not about God’s will, but about our lack of preparation for the kind of war we are truly facing? The reason is deeper than motivation and simpler than theology: you are in a spiritual war, but you have been trained only for natural conflicts. The apostle Paul makes this absolutely clear:
